Maintaining your WordPress website is important to keep all software, plugins, and themes up to date, and to maintain your site security and backups. All of our monthly plans include website maintenance, error fixes, backups, security monitoring, database optimizations, and tech support.

The Fine Print

Each support plan runs on a monthly recurring basis. You may cancel or upgrade at any time, however, there are no pro-rated refunds. E-mail and phone support include assistance with WordPress, theme or plugin questions or for help with technical issues.

The Professional and Business plans include reserved time each month for assistance with website tasks, allowing you to request changes and additions such as content updates (both text and images), theme or stylesheet changes, new form creation, changes to existing forms, posting blogs with SEO set-up, social media posts, etc.  We will work until your time limit is reached. Unused time does not carry over into the next month.

Web support plans are only for WordPress sites. SSL certificates are included for sites hosted on Flywheel managed hosting.  If hosted elsewhere, SSL certificates fees apply. Complimentary website hosting is on Flywheel managed website hosting. Prices are subject to change. Please contact us for further details.

FAQs
Do I need website support?

Website support is preventative care for your website and provides guaranteed technical support. If you do not subscribe to a plan and need assistance, any updates or security fixes will be billed at our current hourly rate. We do not recommend this option unless you have another developer or are very confident in managing your site updates and backups yourself.

Please note that problems caused by an incorrect WordPress software update, plugin updates, or untested plugin installs done by yourself or another third party may or may not be fixable without doing a complete restore of your website, and if you are not a subscriber, all work will be charged at our current hourly rate.

Do you offer one-time or as-needed support?

We recommend any client who needs priority support and ongoing care for their website subscribe to a support plan.  However, if you are not subscribed to a plan, and if our schedule permits, we can assist with help requests. Please note that this work will be billed at our current hourly rate.

How am I billed for website support plans?

Our website support plans are offered on a monthly automatic recurring subscription payment.  Payments are charged each month on the anniversary of your service start. Otherwise, you may pay annually via standard invoicing. Annual contracts receive a 10% discount.

Is there a contract? Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my plan?

There is no contract, you may upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time – just shoot us an email and let us know. There are no refunds for any unused time, or for annual pre-paid plans.

Can you guarantee that my site will not be hacked?

No. There are no guarantees and nothing can prevent a site hack 100%.  Hackers are a nasty, malignant little beings and despite our best efforts, and tightest security, there is always a chance that they can get in. Daily off-site backups, strong passwords, and security scans are vitally important, so if the unthinkable happens, we can restore your site fully, and quickly.

What does the monthly assistance include?

Monthly assistance (in Professional and Business Plans) typically covers requests like content updates, plugin research and setup, theme or stylesheet changes, embedding third-party scripts, hosting server or DNS changes, configuring contact forms, or general WordPress questions, but do not include copywriting, advanced SEO work, or landing page design and development.
